When will my order ship? (Domestic and International)
Orders containing New Releases which are submitted in advance (Saturday through
Tuesday evening) for Wednesday new releases are shipped Wednesday (the day the books
are released). All other orders are shipped within 24-48 hours (excluding weekends
and holidays). EXCEPTION: New releases ordered in advance will be shipped on Wednesday
(new release day). Please note that problems relating to credit card status or billing
information provided by the customer can delay shipping.
During checkout shipping rates will be offered and you may choose from the following
shipping options:
Express Mail International: ALL ORDERS GUARANTEED! Arrives within
3 to 5 business days. Online Tracking! Track your order with the link provided on
your order confirmation e-mail, or by logging onto "My Account" and "Pending Orders".
Priority Mail International Flat Rate Envelope: ALL ORDERS GUARANTEED!
Arrives within 4 to 7 business days.
Priority Mail International: ALL ORDERS GUARANTEED! Arrives within
4 to 7 business days.
It's less expensive than you might think to ship internationally!
Here's a helpful hint: Orders of 10 comics or less can usually ship via Priority
Mail International Flat Rate Envelope which arrives in only 7 to 10 days at a cost
of only $12.45 to Canada and Mexico, $14.45 everywhere else. (Please note that this
is not available in all countries and cities).
During checkout, you will be given the option to choose between UPS and US Postal
Service. All domestic orders are shipped within 24-48 hours (excluding weekends
and holidays). EXCEPTION: New releases ordered in advance will be shipped on Wednesday
(new release day). Please note that problems relating to credit card status or billing
information provided by the customer can delay shipping.
Qualifying domestic orders of over $75.00 can be shipped free by USPS Media Mail. Free shipping applies to all domestic orders of comic books, graphic novels, books, magazines, back issues, and DVDs that exceed $75.00—simply select the free ECONOMY MAIL shipping option during checkout. Orders that include statues, toys, apparel, grab bags or other merchandise along with an excess of $75.00 in comics will not ship free, but do qualify for special reduced shipping rates by ECONOMY MAIL.
In the event that there will be any delays due to holidays, etc, we will post a
notice stating this on the site.
NEW RELEASES, GENERAL INFORMATION
All our books are brand new, near mint. Additionally we bag and board all comics
before shipping at no charge.
Yes, all books are first printing unless otherwise noted.
New releases are posted every Thursday for books arriving the following
Wednesday.
Yes, new releases can be ordered as soon as they are posted on Thursday. However,
any order containing new release books cannot be completely processed until after
we actually receive the new books on Wednesday, regardless of what day they are
ordered.
Yes you can. However, we reserve the right to reduce the quantity that we ship on
those rare ocasions when supply is running very low. Customer is always notified
via e-mail in this event.
Due to the collectability of the comics and merchandise we sell, we are unable to
accept returns. In the case of damaged or mis-shipped orders, please contact us
at
info@midtowncomics.com.
PAYMENT INFORMATION
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal for both domestic
and international orders. We don't accept wire transfers at this time.
If you have another credit card, go to My Account and click on "Check Order Status".
Click "See Details" for the declined order, then go to "Select A Payment Method"
and enter new credit card information.
Yes, all prices are listed in US Dollars.
GENERAL ORDERING INFORMATION
Orders are processed automatically. Additional items would require a separate order.
Shipping of two orders cannot be combined.
Occasionally, an item will be temporarily out of stock; such back-ordered items
will be shipped within 30 days at no additional cost. On rare occasions, an item
may no longer be available; you will not be charged for such items.
You can verify the status of your order on the site at any point in time by checking
‘My Account’. If you have further questions, please contact the shipping department

info@midtowncomics.com. Please bear
in mind that email is answered during business hours (Monday-Friday 11-7pm).
You can cancel an order as long as you do so before it is marked "ready to ship." From your Account page, click View Order Status, and from here you'll see a button to cancel the order.

At Midtown Comics we use Overstreet guidelines for grading and pricing. If you
have any questions about an item, please contact us at info@midtowncomics.com before
purchasing. Midtown Comics uses Overstreet values as a benchmark, but all of our
comics are actually priced lower.
If you feel you must return a back issue, please contact us by e-mail or phone within
12 days of receipt of shipment. Credit or refund will be issued after we have inspected
the returned item, providing that it is returned in the same condition as it was
when originally shipped to you. Use the same box and packing material that we used
in shipping. Only the purchase price of the books will be refunded. Return shipping
and insurance costs is the obligation of the buyer, which will not be reimbursed
for any reason. Returned merchandise must be received by us within seven days of
the date from which you contacted us about the return.

SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION
Domestic: Shipping cost is determined by the dollar amount of your order
(your subscription titles to be shipped this week), like all orders from midtowncomics.com.

International: Shipping cost is determined by weight and will be
provided during checkout where our
shipping
calculator will automatically calculate your shipping cost for you .
Please
note that we do not accept PayPal for subscriptions.
You can add extra items such as toys, back issues, graphic novels, or just about anything on our site to your subscription order by placing the item in your shopping cart, opening the cart, and clicking the little blue "plus" icon next to the item. Adding merchandise other than comics, books, graphic novels, magazines, or DVDs will eliminate free shipping on orders of $75.00 and above.
Deadline to make changes: If you want your changes to be effective immediately with this week's releases, submit them before Saturday night at Midnight EST. Otherwise, your changes will take effect with the titles released the following week.
