Flashpoint Batman Knight Of Vengeance #3,8/4/2011 12:04:20 PM

Another great one and excellent final piece that closes the story for this particular arc. Instant Classic.
Flashpoint Project Superman #2,8/9/2011 10:35:27 PM

While reading this story I enjoyed it very much, but that final frame really brought it all together to make me love it. This was really a heartwarming story, and I cant remember how many times I felt that type of feeling this strong in a comic. The story isnt perfect, there are so many questions that wont be able to be addressed in this short three issue series but in context with flashpoint it is very well done. Just how powerful is Subject Zero, and other then the Doomsday DNA how did they give him these powers?

I was really worried about how this was going to end. The first two comics of this series were excellent, and then numbers three and four were not so good. Number 5 really cleaned up the mess and ended on a high note.
Flashpoint Lois Lane And The Resistance #3,8/27/2011 10:51:10 PM

This is the best of the 3 in this tie-in. These characters were developed in the first two and this last one takes advantage of that by telling a good story. We get a few really nice fight sequences, and I really enjoyed seeing this story play right into the first part of Project Superman 3.
Flashpoint Project Superman #3,8/27/2011 10:51:56 PM

I enjoyed the story, and there was enough good to overcome the bad. I felt like there were some really good ideas, but it was just poorly executed. There was also a problem with the coordination between the different tie-ins and main event. We had a rushed fight scene, a rushed conversation between Lois and Kal, and a poor excuse for an escape from the phantom zone. I cant really fault the writer completely though, it must be frustrating to try and cram all this in 3 books.
Justice League Vol 2 #1 1st Ptg Regular Jim Lee Cover,8/31/2011 4:34:48 PM

This was a lot of fun. There was a lot of exposition, but that is to be expected. I thought that it went over well. Ill definitely be buying JL for the next year to see where they take this.
Green Lantern Secret Origin TP New Edition,9/8/2011 9:53:22 PM

Excellent story that really sets the foundation for all the good new GL stories. We get teased with the Blackest Night, and learn all the key parts of Hal Jordans story here.

Great start to my favorite characters story. Morrison continues to impress in this story that introduces all of the majors players fluidly while telling a compelling story. I cant wait to pick up issue #2, 3 and the rest of his 16 planned comics.

Batman #1 has it all. New technology, all the important characters and a few other twists that fans will love to see.
   DC Universe Presents #1 1st Ptg,9/21/2011 9:00:42 PM

This is a lot of fun. Im very new to the whole Deadman story, and this is a great beginning to get me everything I need to know. Im looking forward to see how this story of redemption continues.
Justice League Vol 2 #1 Combo Pack With Polybag 1st Ptg,8/31/2011 5:29:04 PM

I really enjoyed this number one, and I look forward to number two and the rest of this line. Everything was great, but the Digital Comic had a terrible guided reading setup. Im sure on the iPad it works great, but using it on the computer with the mouse was terrible.
   Superboy Vol 5 #1 1st Ptg,9/16/2011 3:21:01 PM

Solid first issue, I havent read Superboy since the 90s and this issue told me everything I need to know for this story. Im looking forward to how they reveal a few of the secrets shown in this issue.
   Superman Vol 4 #1 1st Ptg,9/30/2011 12:18:45 PM

Great mix of action and storytelling in this first issue. We get to see a story told from beginning to end in one book. Highly recommended for all SMan fans.
Batman Vol 2 #2 Regular Greg Capullo Cover,10/22/2011 3:54:42 PM

This one picks up where the excellent first one ends. We have more detective work, killer action scenes and a great new villain to fear
Adventures Of Superman #444,4/5/2012 11:57:54 PM

This was a good issue, except that there was way too much talking. Most of the story is the heroes walking and talking about the universe that they are in. I suppose much of it is needed to setup this story, but you would think that they could do it in a different way.
   Superman Vol 2 #21,4/5/2012 11:56:02 PM

This issue was a lot of fun. There is plenty of action as well as a few good twists. Strong first issue for the 3 part series.

Simply Excellent. This is another great Morrison comic that continues telling the awesome opening story of the New 52 Superman.
   Avengers vs X-Men #0 1st Ptg Regular Frank Cho Cover,4/5/2012 12:07:45 AM

This new reader prologue helps set the stage for the avenger vs x-men event very well. I didn't know either of these characters before I started reading, but now I will be able to have an idea of what is going on in this AvsX event. The art was pretty good, probably a 3 out of 5 while the story was closer to a 4 of 5.
Action Comics Vol 2 #8 Cover A Regular Rags Morales Cover,4/4/2012 11:02:52 PM

Just finished it, and the story was great. We wrapped up a few loose ends, saw some more questions raised and saw Superman outlast another villain. I'm attached to the rocket cradle for some reason, so anytime he interacts with it that part of the story means a lot to me. This book would score a solid 4.5 - 4.75 if the art could have stayed consistent, but we have such jarring changes that I thought a backup story had begun about 75% through the comic. I hope you guys enjoy the story as much as I did. Story 4.5 Art 2 - I really liked what Rags was doing, but for some reason he couldn't do the entire story..could have been 4.5ish if consistent
Action Comics Vol 2 #10 Cover A Regular Rags Morales Cover,6/7/2012 5:02:25 PM

Grant Morrison continues to create a great superman story with Action 10. This story has everything: Superman being super, Clark interacting with Lois and Jimmy, and also we learn more about what was revealed in Action #6. The art was top notch in this one.
