   X-Factor Annual #8 w/ Polybag,5/4/2012 9:24:20 AM

X-factor annual #8 first appearence of Charon aka Charlie Ronalds it was little disapointing i was expecting a little bit more out of it.It is more comedy then anything and it is basicly a knock off of batman at the beging and it has the lamest vaillian's ever the best thing about it is the two short stories in the back and the first appearence card of Charon.
Evil Ernie Revenge #1,5/6/2012 12:04:17 PM

National Comics Eternity #1,8/16/2012 11:08:01 PM

this book is amazing but the art could of been a bit better though i think this is one of jeffs lemire finest moment. this one of the best comics of this year so far its about a young man you talk to ghost and has to figure out who killed them
   X-Treme X-Men Vol 2 #1 1st Ptg Regular Julian Totino Tedesco Cover,8/17/2012 12:27:49 PM

this comic was pretty good i liked the art the story was ok im not really a big fan on alernate dimention storys how ever im big fan jla/avengers i think if they put a little more time in to it would be awesome the begining i did not like one bit the all thing the prof.x heads and the alternate evil prof.x's it was stupid
Before Watchmen Rorschach #1 Regular Lee Bermejo Cover,8/16/2012 11:24:12 PM

Rorschach #1: AND it delivers! =) I was really getting worried with the line of "Before Watchmen" solo issues. This is my favorite character in the series, and it didn't disappoint. The art is so detailed and I love the highlighting in the figures.. it makes the comic look so much more realistic. I enjoy the adult content in this book.. just the type of grimy feel a Rorschach comic should have. He got his ass kicked, but #2 is going to be good. I'm excited to see how Rorschach gets his revenge. (4.5 out of 5 - Met my expectations. Art is pleasing, story is compelling, characters have flavor, and even the way they type the narrative is interesting. Great pick up.)
Avengers vs X-Men #10 Regular Jim Cheung Cover,8/16/2012 11:17:54 PM

AvsX Round 10: Sometimes I get confused of why Hope chose to join the Avengers so effortlessly. Was it because she wanted to harness the power of the Phoenix, or was did she not like what the X-men were trying to accomplish. Why does she have such a strong affiliation and trust with the Avengers.. kinda confusing to me. I liked this issue, but it wasn't the strongest issue for me. Mystical creatures are good, and awesome fatality moves are cool too, but it felt a bit.. RANDOM. Lots of build up about Magneto asking Professor X for help against Cyclops and Emma Frost. Hope has cool powers now.. but this isn't the climax of the story just yet. I have "hope" for the next issue (yes, pun intended). =P (3 out of 5 - Events were a bit random, story feels like it didn't really go anywhere since the last issue.)
   Captain Marvel Vol 6 #2 1st Ptg,8/16/2012 11:29:04 PM

Captain Marvel #2: This issue took a different route than the first issue. It's starting to develop a story that can pan out nicely in the next few issues. As Carol Danvers tries to break a specific flying (in a plane) record.. she finds herself somewhere very unfamiliar. She's now in a new place..and a new time. The colors and feel of this book is very artistic. I really enjoy the palette of color this title has been using. Great scene with the female military squad. You can never beat a comic with a group of attractive women holding high powered weaponry. I now have new questions that will persuade me to pick up the next issue. (4 out of 5 - Nicely done. Finally, begins a story, art is beautiful, and lots of action.)
Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe #3 1st Ptg,8/16/2012 11:21:59 PM

Deadpool Kills #3: There's just something about this series that urks me. The art is "ok," but the story really annoys me. I know it's a given that Deadpool kills everyone, but the believable factor just went out the window for me. The X-men for example.. how does Deadpool get them all in these death traps? The way that Professor X died was more annoying than anything. I liked the wolverine scene alot though. I felt bad for X-23 and Daken.. stuck in that tortured machine over and over again.. yikes! haha, Deadpool's costume was pretty badass too in the Wolverine battle. (2.5 out of 5 - Some good parts, but I'm still not convinced in the story. This issue didn't do much for me. I'd drop the title, but there is only one issue left. lol.)
   Bloodshot Vol 3 #2 1st Ptg Regular Arturo Lozzi Cover,8/16/2012 11:26:25 PM

Bloodshot #2: The thing I love most about this comic is the detail in goriness. I love the fights scenes and the subtle artistic decision to pop the eyeball, bleed from the ears, and the removal of limbs. The penciling and coloring is spot on, and the story keeps moving around from person to person which is making of a great build up of the plot. This comic really hasn't established if Bloodshot is a "good guy" or "bad guy"... but it looks like a governmental organization is setting free their secret weapon to stop him in the next issue. (4 out of 5 - Solid art. The actions and scenes kept me very interested. Story is developing nicely)
Harbinger Vol 2 #2 Incentive Doug Braithwaite Variant Cover,8/16/2012 11:14:12 PM

Harbinger #3: This comic is taking a different direction than I thought it would. Peter Stanchek (main character w/ mind abilities) has been talked into joining a Corporate Group of other people with abilities. Aparently Peter is the "chosen one," and he is going through the beginning process of the training. Cool flash back scenes. The story is feeling like a high school television show. Where the new kid gets picked on, and has to struggle to prove his place in the group. Last scene with the girl was confusing (weird foreshadow that really had no cliffhanger value). (2.75 out of 5 - It wasn't bad, I just expected more. The story is really building, but the plot is so mysterious.. it's kinda lacking purpose for me.)
