   Amazing Spider-Man Vol 2 #625,1/23/2011 7:20:47 PM
This was a great issue of Amazing with the original Rhino taking on the new Rhino. It was good to see the real Rhino back in his skin. This was one of the better issues in "The Gauntlet" run and is definitely worth picking up as just a stand-alone issue. Art was great and the action sequences were awesome. I would love to see this in a movie!
Aquaman Limited Series Vol 1 #1,1/23/2011 7:29:09 PM
If you are an Aquaman fan then this 4 issue limited series is a must. Written by the late Neal Pozner this series dealt with a conflict between two brothers. The story is well written and shows Aquaman's and his brother Ocean Master's origins together. The art by Craig Hamilton is great. This is one of the best Aquaman comics ever and it put it on the list right behind the Aparo Aquaman from Adventure Comics and Aquaman Volume 1.
Mighty Thor #1 1st Ptg Regular Olivier Coipel Cover,6/1/2011 9:52:44 PM
I was expecting more, especially from a #1 issue and the movie being out. Not much going on and the story is a little confusing. Art is not great just average. Nothing really held my interest. Maybe things will pick up in issue #2.

Not a bad crime mini series based in New Orleans. If you like crime stories and want something gritty, this is worth the pick up.
   Flashpoint #1 Cover A 1st Ptg Regular Andy Kubert Cover,6/26/2011 6:52:42 PM
A great start to Flashpoint, I really enjoyed this issue. Opens up like a movie and I love some of the takes on the alternate events that have happened. Geoff Johns so far has got me excited for what is next! Art is good to!
   X-Files 30 Days Of Night #1 Cover A X-Files 30 Days Of Night By Andrea Sorrentino,6/29/2011 10:42:06 PM
A good start to a great pairing of concepts. The intro with the truck driver is great and starts the suspense engine. Cant wait to read the second issue.
   Vault #1,8/4/2011 8:51:05 AM
I took a chance on The Vault because of the story description. I am now very happy I took that chance. I cant wait for issue 2 to come out! This is a great example of how a comic book should be done starting with a first issue. I really liked the art also. This one is a winner!
   Legion Of Super-Heroes Vol 7 #1 1st Ptg,10/11/2011 12:46:51 AM
This was the first time I read a Legion comic and I liked it enough to get issue #2, which means it was pretty good!
   Static Shock #1 1st Ptg,10/11/2011 12:50:39 AM
I thought this first issue was very good. It sets the tone and it has a guest appearance by Hardware. I will be getting #2 now.
   Aquaman Vol 5 #1 1st Ptg,10/11/2011 12:52:27 AM
Loved it! I am so happy Aquaman is back and it looks like this time he will be better than ever.
   Savage Hawkman #1 1st Ptg,1/23/2012 6:12:05 PM
I enjoyed The Savage Hawkman first issue. I like the new look, well except for the bulky shoulder pad. After reading all of the New 52's #1s, Hawkman is still on my pull list. I really hope they go with an action/adventure stroy echoing an Indiana Jones feel.
   Deathstroke Vol 2 #1 1st Ptg,1/23/2012 6:16:25 PM
I liked this first issue (and #2-4). Deathstroke so far is staying on my pull list. The story so far is pretty good and the art is great. The first issue opens up with a movie feel and has plenty of action and leaves you wanting more. Good stuff DC!
   Flash Vol 4 #1 1st Ptg Regular Francis Manapul Cover,1/23/2012 6:22:16 PM
I just got done reading Flash 1 - 3 and I am liking what I am reading for the most part. Pretty good start to Flash in the New 52 and Mob Rule is intriguing.
Justice League Vol 2 #4 1st Ptg Regular Jim Lee Cover,1/23/2012 6:25:36 PM
This is my favorite issue of Justice league so far. Awesome Aquaman! Green Lantern touching Wonder Woman's lasso and getting verbal diarrhea was funny as hell. Big freaking sharks! and a big freaking Darkseid at the end! This series and Aquaman are the best of the best from DC in my opinion.
