Jaehaerys I Targaryen ruled for over five decades, becoming the longest ruling of the Targaryen Dynasty, which led him to also being referred to as the 'Old King.' Jaehaerys brought to the realm a time of great peace, aided by his beloved sister-wife Good Queen Alysanne. This coin has been struck in red brass (aka coiner's bronze, aurichalcum, or 'Merlin's Gold') to emulate the color of the gold coin it represents. If it tarnishes it can be cleaned with a metal polishing cloth to restore the bright highlights.
