Robot Vol 1 GN

Description

ROBOT is a one-of-a-kind compilation that is produced and edited by one of Japan’s most well-known and renowned manga artists, Range Murata, character designer for Studio Gonzo’s Last Exile and Blue Submarine No. 6. Murata’s hand-picked contributors like Yoshitoshi Abe (Essence) and Ugetsu Hakua (Burst Angel) come together in a mind-blowing experiment of what happens when top manga artists work in the unusual format of short stories and brilliant color. From Range Murata’s picturesque portrayal of two teens on a motorcycle ride into the unknown, to Yoshitoshi Abe’s tale of dark fantasy, and Mami Itou’s butcher gone awry, diversity of narrative competes with a high level of artistic experimentation in this monumental work. Softcover with dustjacket.
