Rough Stuff #5

Description

This issue celebrates the art of creating comics, presenting never-seen pencil pages, sketches, layouts, roughs, and unused inked pages from throughout comics history! Inside, editor (and top pro inker) Bob Mcleod has assembled extensive galleries by Paul Smith, Gil Kane, Cully Hamner, Dale Keown, and Ashley Wood! Each artist provides detailed commentaries on their work, discussing what went right and wrong with it, and giving background information to put it all into historical perspective. The feature interview this issue is with Steve Rude, complete with art from his fabled sketchbooks! There's also an examination of John Albano and Tony DeZuniga's work on Jonah Hex, before-and-after art comparisons, a new Nexus cover by Steve Rude, and more!
