X-Files Vol 5 Ruins MMPB

Description

"Normally the FBI would not assign a missing persons investigation to X-Files agents Mulder and Scully--who specialize in the paranormal, the supernatural…and possibly the extraterrestrial. But the disappearance of an American archaeologist and her entire team while exploring the lost Mayan city of Xitaclan raises too many questions for which there are no logical answers. Mulder believes this case involves ancient curses, blood rituals, and monsters older than history--while Scully seeks more rational explanations. But one truth is evident: they will not be alone among these haunted ruins. For a U.S. commando squad is being dispatched to somewhere beneath the great crumbling structures. And their mission is to seek out--and eliminate--a strange electronic signal that is sending an unknown message upward...to the stars."
