Urbance Vol 1 GN

Description

At the crossroads of genres, blending numerous graphic and scriptwriting influences, this sci-fi adventure by animation director Joël Dos Reis Viegas paints a picture of a society on the verge of implosion, haunted by death, structured by fear, indoctrination, and the deprivation of the most fundamental freedom: the freedom to love who you choose.

In far-future Neopolis, a virus has affected the entire population from birth. All sexual relations between genders are strictly forbidden, as they are absolutely fatal. Raised to hate the opposite sex, boys and girls live in a city separated by a wall. But the appearance of N-Dorphin, a revolutionary drug, disrupts the status quo. Kenzell and Lesya, two dissidents of opposite sexes, find themselves embroiled in a merciless clan war and will have to face a reality beyond their control . . .
