"Maid Machinegun takes an intimate and humorous look at the world of Japanese manga and anime fandom — in the form of the fictional diary of an eighteen-year-old fangirl. Maid Machinegun's goofy, lovable heroine takes American readers on a tour of the J-pop landscape, from Akihabara, Tokyo, the headquarters of Japanese geek culture, to Comiket, the world's biggest anime and manga convention."
