"This Premiere Hardcover collects all six issues of 2008’s blockbuster storyline, Broken Trinity, plus a slew of bonus material, from a cover gallery to behind-the-scenes commentary. Much like 2007’s First Born story arc, Broken Trinity upsets the status quo of the Top Cow Universe as one of the three principal characters in the never-ending battle between Light and Dark—Witchblade, The Darkness and The Angelus—dies, never to return. In addition, new characters enter the fray, setting the stage for a new ongoing series to debut later in 2009!
Also reprints FIRST BORN, Top Cow’s stunning epic crossover by the regular Witchblade team of Ron Marz and Stjepan Sejic. Sara Pezzini prepares to give birth to her first child, but both the forces of Light and Dark covet the offspring of the Witchblade bearer!
This hardcover collects First Born #1-3 as well as Witchblade #110-112, featuring art by industry heavyweights Luke Ross, Stephen Sadowski, Rick Leonardi, Kevin Nowlan, and Mike Mayhew, as well as for the first time First Born: Aftermath with art by Lee Moder and Ryan Sook. Additionally the 9” x 12” slipcased, hard cover will feature an extensive behind-the-scenes section delving deep into the development process, a new cover by Sejic, and a 24” x 36” full color poster."
