Description

The very first issue of Illustration featured the work of Elbert Mcgran Jackson on the cover, yet to date this artist has never been profiled in the magazine! This issue rectifies this situation, as we finally feature Jackson's work in a major feature. Our story showcases numerous examples of his original art, printed tear sheets and covers, and rare, previously unpublished photographs. Next up we feature the work of Carlo Demand, famous for his incredible automotive illustrations during the 50s and 60s. Book reviews, exhibitions and events, and more round out the issue!
