Over 800 cartoonists worldwide celebrated "24-Hour Comics Day" this year, when cartoonists are challenged to try and create 24 pages of comics in 24 straight hours. Nat Gertler, founder of the event, sifted through hundreds of submissions to find the 24 hidden gems. Some come from well-established creators like Zander Cannon and Ben Avery, other come from people who have never created a comics story before. A great mix of both male and female creators bring comedy, drama, westerns, horror, and more to the table. A combination of creativity, spontaneity, and endurance bring these creator together to produce something truely amazing.
